FanDuel Massachusetts Promo Code Grabs $200 Value for Friday Betting Menu

Friday continues the start of the MLB season along with a handful of NBA and NHL matchups — all of which can be used to gain $200 in bonus bets with  FanDuel Massachusetts promo code.

This offer allows you to wager on any sport or market and regardless of how it settles, you will get $200 in bonus bets in your account. You just need to make sure your bet is at least $5.

Other states have the $1,000 no sweat first bet offer, which means that FanDuel matches your first bet with bonus bets if it should lose.

For the no sweat first bet, say you bet $100 on the Jazz to upset the Celtics at +350. You’d net the $450 payout with a win, but get $100 back in bonus bets if you lose.

So what are bonus bets? Keep reading to understand how you can strategize with them to give yourself the best chance to profit.

FanDuel Promo Code: Friday Bets for MLB and NBA

Our betting guide for sports betting promotions states that betting on longer odds is the beneficial move for these bets. You will get more expected value over time, which means the margin between the real odds of something happening and the odds posted by the sportsbook.

With that said, let’s look at a couple of expert bets for Friday and combine them to create a parlay.

I’m high on Cristian Javier, who I talked up for wins leader, strikeout leader and Cy Young bets this offseason. Javier carried a 2.43 expected ERA or xERA last season, second behind only Spencer Strider (2.39) and well ahead of the rest of the pack, including Clayton Kershaw (2.51), Carlos Rodon (2.64), Justin Verlander (2.66) and Shohei Ohtani (2.68).

I’m also high on Lance Lynn for this season after potentially finding a slider to neutralize lefties. Per Jake Mailhot of FanGraphs: “During his career, Lynn has run a pretty pronounced platoon split (nearly 50 points of wOBA). After adding the slider, his wOBA allowed against left-handed batters fell from .395 to .258, and his strikeout rate increased from 17% to 23%.”

Regardless, both teams are in their lesser offensive split. Both project better against left-handed pitching than righties. Last season, Houston ranked second against lefties but ninth against righties; Chicago ranked fourth against lefties but 23rd against righties. The personnel isn’t entirely the same, but it gives you an idea of the relative potency between the splits.

It will be tough to back either one of these teams at the window, this game should be a pick’em, which generally means we as bettors should leave it alone unless we see a clear edge on one side.

The Hawks are coming off a two-point road victory over the Cavaliers. If recent history serves correctly, that means the Hawks will lose tonight.

According to Action Network’s betting data, 54% of the money is the the Hawks as short favorites, but 79% of the money is on the Nets at the time of writing. I will take the Nets on the moneyline.

Together, these two bets would create a parlay of +291 odds.

How The Bet Settles: If I were to place $100 on this, I would either net $291 in actual money, or $0. The $100 is taken back by FanDuel either way.
