Six NFL teams find themselves on the bye week in Week 7, but we still have 13 games to focus on between Thursday and Monday. Let’s take a look at some of the more intriguing games on the schedule. Before placing your NFL bets, make sure to so you’re prepared with the knowledge necessary.

  • Detroit Lions @ Baltimore Ravens: At this point, you need to consider the Detroit Lions one of the best teams in football. They are 5-1 through six weeks and have shown the ability to win games on the ground, with Jared Goff’s arm and on the backs of their defense. However, they are road underdogs in Week 7, getting three points against the Baltimore Ravens. Last week, Justin Tucker kicked six field goals. The Ravens will need to turn some of those drives into touchdowns if they want to win and cover against Detroit.
  • Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs: These teams have consistently played close games since the Justin Herbert-Patrick Mahomes divisional rivalry was established. Since Herbert joined the league in 2020, the Chargers are 2-4 against the Chiefs. However, two of their losses came in overtime and the other two losses were by three points. Kansas City is a 5.5-point favorite here and both offenses should be roaring.
  • Miami Dolphins @ Philadelphia Eagles: The Miami Dolphins spotted Carolina a 14-point lead last week and then hung 42 points on them and nobody seemed to be overly impressed. That just shows the level this Miami offense is playing at this season. Philadelphia suffered their first loss of the season against the Jets last weekend. The Eagles enter as a short 2.5-point home favorite on Sunday Night against Miami. Could this be a Super Bowl preview matchup?
