Fans all joke 'Arsenal bottled it' after realising Gunners are the ONLY team owned by Kroenke that hasn't won a title

STAN KROENKE is used to owning winning teams, but he is yet to repeat the trick at Arsenal.

And after the Denver Nuggets won their first-ever NBA Finals, fans have realised the Gunners are the only team NOT to win a title under Kroenke.

The American billionaire, 75, became Arsenal's majority stakeholder in 2011, slowly increasing his shares before Kroenke Sports and Entertainment became the sole owner.

Under his stewardship Arsenal have won four FA Cups. But the Gunners have been far off the pace of Premier League titles.

And after a Nikola Jokic-inspired Nuggets beat the Miami Heat 4-1 in the NBA Finals, Arsenal remain the only team who are yet to win a title under Kroenke.

Indeed, in the last year and a half four of his teams have won league titles.

The LA Rams won the Super Bowl in NFL, Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup in NHL and Colorado Mammoth won the NLL (Lacrosse).

Before that the Colorado Rapids won the MLS Cup in 2010.

Arsenal's Women's team have also claimed two Women's Super League titles since Kroenke took over, with their most recent coming in 2019.

Reacting to the realisation, fans took to Twitter to take a dig at Arsenal.
