Harry Kewell also congratulated the side. The team will play the winners of Group C in the knockout stage. They could meet Argentina and Lionel Messi. It's the first time since the 2006 World cup that Australia has reached the quarter-finals. Denmark were beaten only once in qualifying. Australia beat both Denmark and Tunisia in their group. A Matthew Leckie goal secured the victory for Australia. He scored the winner.
