FC Porto forgot the poor series of results in preseason and a run of four straight winless affairs as they picked up a 1-2 comeback win at Moreirense on the opening day of the Primeira Liga season.

It was an important victory for Sergio Conceicao’s men who had earlier suffered a painful 2-0 defeat to Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup tie.
