Film Study: Peyton Watson’s Strong Debut with the Grand Rapids Gold
Peyton Watson was assigned to the Grand Rapids Gold, the Nuggets' G-League affiliate. He's played well in his first two games, averaging 24 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per games and 3. 5 blocks per match. His physical tools are ideal for the modern NBA. He has a 7’0.25” wingspan and a fairly fluid mover. After a bad year at UCLA people are still excited about his future. The video shows him playing well with the Gold. It also shows his defensive skills. In the video he blocks two shots off the backboard. There are also some flashes of his offensive skills as well.
