Five held in WC betting scam of 100s of crores
Gujarat CID crime has busted a huge scam involving a score predicting app called ‘Dani-Data’ during the FIFA World Cup. Five people have been arrested. The money was routed to Dubai and European countries. NIA, ED and the GST department have joined the investigation. The only account which we have got hold of is of a company called Panther Trading Co. which debit and credit transactions of more than Rs 500 crore.
