Flames vs. Jets Odds, Preview, Prediction: Great Value Lies on Total

The Calgary Flames travel to Winnipeg to take on the Central Division's sixth-place Jets. This is the third meeting between these two teams this season. The first two games saw six or fewer goals scored.

The Calgary Flames are on the second half of a back-to-back following Thursday's game against the Minnesota Wild. This game will be Calgary's third in the last four nights. Daniel Vladar will start for the Flames. Vladars has had a fine year for Calgary. Calgary has already clinched the first seed in Pacific Division.

Winnipeg Jets beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-0 on Wednesday. Connor Hellebuyck is the projected starting goaltender for the Jets. Hellbuycks has been solid all season with a 0.910 save percentage and a good save % on home ice. Jets are averaging 2.5 goals per game over their last six games.

Flames are starting a backup goaltender. Vladar has been more than competent this season. The public will most likely be on the over. I expect the Flames to healthy scratch all of their big guys prior to puck drop.
