Will Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal pick up another three points and can Brighton maintain their magnificent start to the season?

Here is our Premier League accumulator for Saturday:

  • Leg 1: Arsenal to beat Fulham to nil
  • Leg 2: Brentford vs Crystal Palace under 2.5 goals
  • Leg 3: Manchester United to lead Nottingham Forest at half time and full time
  • Leg 4: Brighton to beat West Ham

BoyleSports will give you odds of around 17/2 on this four-fold bet.

Arsenal showed two sides of their game in a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last time out.

Mikel Arteta’s men dominated possession for the first 65 minutes and played some good football. But when they were reduced to 10 men midway through the second half, they had to dig deep to hold onto their lead.

This should be a more comfortable afternoon in front of their own fans. Arsenal defended well at Selhurst Park and we should see similar solidity here.

Fulham have lost their talisman in Aleksandar Mitrovic and there are doubts over whether Raul Jimenez is an adequate replacement.

The Mexican’s best days are behind him and he did not manage a single league goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers last term.

A clean sheet should be well within Arsenal’s grasp in this one.

Leg 2: Brentford vs Crystal Palace under 2.5 goals

Meetings between these two teams tend to be tight. Since Brentford’s promotion, all four of their games against Crystal Palace have been draws: 0-0, 0-0, 1-1 and 1-1.

You have to go all the way back to 1963 to find a league match between this pair that featured more than 2.5 goals.

As such, we should not expect a particularly high-scoring encounter at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Brentford have notched five goals in their two games so far in 2023/24 but Palace under Roy Hodgson are a tough nut to crack.

These two teams could cancel each other out and another 0-0 or 1-1 draw is a distinct possibility in this London derby.

Leg 3: Man Utd to lead Nottingham Forest at HT and FT

Manchester United have had a tricky start to the new campaign. They beat Wolves in their opening game but the Red Devils were outplayed for long stretches of the game.

They then suffered a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, leaving Erik ten Hag with plenty to think about.

The balance in United’s midfield does not look right and that is something the Dutchman will seek to address when Nottingham Forest come to town.

Steve Cooper’s side beat Sheffield United last weekend to get off the mark for 2023/24, but their away record since promotion to the Premier League is pitiful: they have collected just eight points from a possible 60 at opposition stadiums.

Despite United’s unconvincing start to the season, Forest could be in for a difficult afternoon at Old Trafford.

Leg 4: Brighton to beat West Ham

Brighton have been sensational in their first two games, thumping Luton Town and Wolves 4-1 apiece.

The Seagulls have lost some key players this summer, including Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo and Levi Colwill.

But under the astute leadership of Roberto De Zerbi, they have simply picked up from where they left off last season.

Brighton must balance European and domestic commitments this term and the squad could become stretched.

For now, though, they are flying high and West Ham will struggle to halt their momentum in the late kick-off on Saturday.

Brighton are one of the best footballing teams in the division and West Ham’s cautious tactics could play into the hands of their opponents.
