Leicester To Win

We’ve a lovely game to get stuck into on Friday night as Leeds travel to the near-unstoppable Leicester in the EFL Championship. The Foxes are top of the pile already and have a healthy five-point lead over Ipswich in second and a monster 14 points in hand over Leeds in third.

Enzo Maresca’s men have won 13 of 14 league games season, with only Hull taking anything in a 1-0 win at the King Power back in September. Leeds have won seven, drawn four and lost three over the same number and are on a nice run of four wins in their last five.

Given the turnover on the playing staff they’re probably doing a little better than expected at this stage but, considering the run the home side are on, we simply have to be with a Leicester Win in this one.

Over 2.5 Goals

We should expect a fair few goals in this game. The home side have netted on 29 occasions this season, five times more than their visitors on Friday. Leicester have only conceded eight which is 0.57 goals a game while Leeds have shipped 15 in 14.

But going forward these two are ruthless. Leicester are ticking along at a shade over 2 goals a game while Leeds are scoring 1.7 a game on average. In terms of how often this bet clicks for either it’s landed in four of The Foxes’ last six and five of Leeds’ last seven so we should have a great chance of Over 2.5 Goals on Friday night.

Crysencio Summerville To Score Or Assist

We’re getting a frankly barmy price on Crysencio Summerville To Score Or Assist in this game. I think Leicester’s water-tight defence might be playing a big part in that, but if anyone’s going to be the catalyst for Leeds it’s the Netherlands youth international.

He’s scored six and set up four this season, including a direct involvement with all four goals against Huddersfield last time out. He’s in stunning form and has scored or assisted in four of his last five outings. Say no more.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall To Score Or Assist

While Summerville’s had a super start to the season, Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has gone one better. Literally. He’s got 11 direct goal involvements in 2023/24 with five goals and six assists already.

He’s a regular 90-minute man and he’s played the full compliment in each of the last six matches. In those he’s scored three and set up three with only Stoke managing to shut him down. Dewsbury-Hall To Score Or Assist is another fine play at the price on offer.

Stephy Mavididi To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target

Stephy Mavididi’s had an interesting career since leaving Arsenal in 2018 but he’s rocked up at the King Power via Juventus, Dijon and Montpellier. He looks to be enjoying himself at Leicester and has quickly become a key figure in their starting XI, replacing Harvey Barnes on the left wing.

He plays the lion’s share of games and the majority of minutes too. The main thing for us is that he’s ticking along at 1.1 Shots On Target per 90 minutes played. Mavididi To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target is another punt that should have a great chance in this game.
