Everyone still thinks back to that legendary 4-3 game and it was goals galore. I was there at Anfield in 1996, they were quite amazing football games that season, so I’m going for goals in this one.
Both teams can score but both teams are also venerable at the back. Newcastle have had just one clean sheet in their last 13 Premier League games. Obviously that goes back to last season and they’ve still got more-or-less the same squad.
Newcastle are still to lose a league game under Eddie Howe after taking the lead. That’s 26 games with 20 wins in there. That’s something to watch out for in this game.
Callum Wilson has scored nine in the last 10 Premier League matches so he’s in fine form. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League games and they’ve scored in their last 12 and Luis Diaz has scored two in two.
But, I’m not going for him in my Bet Builder. I’m going for Desmond, 2-2 in this game so Both Teams To Score. I think it will be a high-scoring Draw.
