for CJ Stroud's Peach Bowl brilliance
CJ Stroud was brilliant against Georgia's vaunted defense. Marvin Harrison Jr. left the game in the second half with a concussion. Stoud was without Jaxon Smith-Njigba, TreVeyon Henderson, Cade Stover, Miyan Williams and Marvin Hernadez. He almost pulled off another off-platform, miraculous touchdown. If Harrison finishes the match, it will be a Justin Fields moment for Stardug.
Ohio State lost to Georgia 41-14 in the College Football Championship Game. It was the first start for Stroud in a playoff game. He was not swallowed whole by Jalen Carter. Stoud was poised, elusive and gritty. The game was played against the No. 2 defense in America. If Noah Ruggles' kick sails through the uprights, Sturdevant is the favorite to lead Ohio State to a national title for the the First time since the 2014 season. He will never get to play in national championship like Justin Fields or Cardale Jones.
