Formula One in USA: Stefano Domenicali, Lewis Hamilton on Las Vegas Grand Prix

Formula One is planning to run three American Grands Prix next season. The first one will be in Las Vegas next November. It is a dramatic U-turn for the sport, which had considered quitting the U.S. market. F1 will go from one race in the US last year to three in 2023. The series is owned by the Denver-based Liberty Media. They are also working on a string of major American projects. A quarter of the 24-race calendar will fall in U.-friendly time zones. Formula One already stretches from March to November and hits five continents.
