Game Preview: Monsters vs. Wolves 11/04

The Cleveland Monsters, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, take on the Chicago Wolves, an NHL affiliate from the Carolina Hurricans, on Friday at 7:00 pm.

The Cleveland Monsters are currently ranked third in the North Division and ninth in Eastern Conference. They are led in scoring by Emil Bemstrom (5-6-11), Kirill Marchenko ( 5-4-9), and C Brendan Gaunce (4.5/9).

The Chicago Wolves lost 3-4 at home to the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday. Chicago is currently 7th in the Central Division and 15th on the Western Conference standings.

Emil Bemstrom is on a two-game point streak. Kirill Marchenko is currently on two point streaks. C Erik Bradford was recalled from the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings on Tuesday. Darion Hanson was signed to a professional tryout contract on Thursday.
