Georgia football winners and losers as Bulldogs complete perfect regular season, look ahead to LSU

Georgia's special teams unit played well on Saturday. Jack Podlesny made all three of his field goals and Ladd McConkey returned a punt 39 yards. Brett Thorson's punt was downed at the one-yard line. Georgia Tech's punter dropped a kick and set Georgia up with excellent field position. Brock Bowers found a touchdown to break the game open.

Georgia and LSU are playing in the SEC championship game on Saturday. Texas A&M beat LSU 38-23. Georgia is still interested in winning the championship. It would remove any drama from the College Football Playoff rankings. A win would also put Georgia in Atlanta for its College football semifinal. Georgia has won more national championships than SEC championships. LSU is the first three-loss team to make it to Atlanta since Florida did so in 2016.

Georgia won the regular season game against Stetson. Stetton Bennett had 140 passing yards and two touchdowns. Georgia is 26-3 in games started by Bennett.
