Georgia football’s X-factors for Peach Bowl, some QB alternate history and more

Georgia is playing in the Peach Bowl. Kendall Milton is feeling better after a nagging injury. Mitchell hasn't caught a pass since his high ankle sprain in Week 2. He played in SEC championship game and threw for a two-point conversion.  Georgia's offensive coordinator Todd Monken says Mitchell's had a good week. Georgia's third-leading rusher this year is 533 yards. It's the most among the team's scholarship tailbacks. The team is looking forward to the game.  Georgia is the favorite to win the championship. Bennett passed for five touchdowns in the game against UAB. Carson Beck was close to being the starter for the 2021 game, but Bennett supplanted him in practice. Monken confirms that. Bennett came back for another year. He said the morning after the national championship game in January that he wanted to play. He was drunk. The coach acknowledged that, saying that Bennett was right. It was a shot of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon given to him by a happy Georgia fan. it was before Bennett announced he was returning. for 2022. and he said he would play if he could get the trust of the coaches for that year, which Mon Kenk confirms.

Bennett was a Heisman Trophy finalist and is now playing for Georgia. Monken was an NFL offensive coordinator from 2016-19. He believes Bennett's intelligence and experience will help him in the NFL. He also believes that he can play as a backup. It's a position that needs to be respected. Baker Mayfield is a good example.

Georgia is preparing for the Peach Bowl. Bryan McClendon is the receivers coach. He was the interim head coach at Georgia between Mark Richt's firing and Smart taking over.
