Georgia v Scotland: Scotland player ratings

Georgia won the match against Scotland. Huw Jones made his first international start. He scored two tries. He is expected to play against Ireland in the tournament opener. Finn Russell is the team's unsung hero. Georgia won. Scotland won by a score of 28-17. It was the first time Georgia had beaten Scotland in a rugby match. The match was played in front of a crowd of 10,000 people.

Finn Russell is getting better as the game goes on. Scotland will hope he can keep up the good form in Japan. Georgia had a difficult start.

Greig Laidlaw scored 15 points for Scotland. Greig will start at 9 against Ireland.

Allan Dell has upped his game since returning from almost a year out with back and groin injuries.

Matt Fagerson is a good ball carrier for Scotland. He has bulked up this summer and ticks all the boxes Gregor Townsend is looking for from his back-row. The one blot on his copybook was the dropped ball at the start of the second half.

Grant Stewart got 5 minutes of play time last weekend and again this week.

Zander Fagerson came on the 57th minute and had a flair-up with the opposition at his first scrum less than one minute after arrival. Scotland won the match.
