Georgia beat Michigan 34-11 in the Orange Bowl on New Year's Eve. Georgia will play Alabama in a rematch of the 2021 CFP National Championship. Alabama beat Cincinnati 27-6 in Friday's Cotton Bowl semifinal. Georgia is the first team in CFA history to score points on its first five possessions. Michigan turned the ball over on four straight possessions and had two interceptions. The Wolverines won the 2018 CFO National Championships 26-23 in overtime. It was the second time in five years that Georgia and Alabama will meet in this championship game.

Michigan proved to the world it can get to playoff. It was an incredible season.
