Ginobili and his Eurostep reach Basketball Hall of Fame

Ginobili is enshrinced in the Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Ginobil is the first international player to be inducted by the North American committee. He got into the Hall on the merits of his NBA career and not what he did playing internationally. Ginol played with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and others in San Antonio for 16 seasons. The Spurs drafted him in 1999 when he was playing in Italy. In 2002, he brought the Eurostep to the NBA. It took more than three years for him to come to NBA and he is a four-time NBA champion. His Eurosteep is considered to have originated from Sarunas Marciulionis.
