Graham Potter Hot Favourite to Replace Sacked Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea

The Englishman could be in place as early as Chelsea's derby at Fulham on Saturday. Tuchell was sacked despite Chelsea winning the Champions League in 2021. Chelsea lost their Champions league group stage opener 1-0 at Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.

Thomas Tuchel has been sacked as Chelsea manager. The club is sixth in the Premier League after six matches. Tuchell was in charge at Chelsea for less than 20 months. Graham Potter is favourite to replace him. Chelsea won the League Cup and FA Cup last season. They also won a Champions League and the Club World Cup. New owners bought the club from Roman Abramovich for a world-record fee of £4.25 billion. More than £250 million was spent on players in recent transfer window.
