Great expectations of Candice and Charles Dickens

Bass-Robinson won five races at Cape Town's premier track. She is confident about the future and her future success. Bass- Robinsons is aiming for the Western Cape trainer championship. Charles Dickens is likely to be key ammunition in the Bass Robinons' assault on the season.

Somerset Maugham and Charles Dickens are trained by Cape Town supremo Snaith. Both were bred and retained in ownership by Gaynor Rupert’s Drakenstein Stud. Bass-Robinson is considering giving Charles another outing before the 1600m Guineas, which is contested on 17 December. Mike Bass is back working in the Bass Racing stables every day.
