Grizzlies vs Bulls Prediction

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Chicago Bulls duke it out at the United Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 11 of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Clippers in a 108-94 win on Friday. Desmond Bane led the way with 22 points and nine assists on nine of 18 shooting, Luke Kennard added 17 points off the bench while Xavier Tillman chipped in with 14 points on seven of 11 shooting. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 33 from the 3-point line as they dominated the second quarter by 34-17 to erase an early 20-point deficit, before they poured in another 31 points in the third quarter to build a 22-point lead and put the game to bed early.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after making light work of the Hornets in a 121-91 road win on Friday. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine led the team with 23 points each, Nikola Vucevic added 21 points while Patrick Williams chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Bulls shot 51 percent from the field and 13 of 31 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Hornets in the first half to take the double-digit lead, before they held the Hornets to just 14 points in the fourth quarter to make it a complete blowout.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games. The Bulls are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the under is 5-1-2 in the last eight meetings overall and the Grizzlies are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Grizzlies are still missing Steven Adams and they are keeping eyes on Vince Williams and John Konchar who are both questionable for this one, while the Bulls are still missing Lonzo Ball, but they should have Alex Caruso back in the lineup. The Grizzlies have continue to pile on the wins on a nightly basis and they would love to take down the Bulls who have quietly been playing some of their best basketball of the season. It’s hard to split these two at the moment, but the Grizzlies are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and I think that streak stays alive in this one.
