Guardiola 'trying to be the new Alex Ferguson' with Anfield claim
Pep Guardiola's team lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. Phil Foden's goal was called back after a VAR review. John Aldridge believes Guardiola is trying to be the new Alex Ferguson. Aldridge thinks the VCR has been used to the disadvantage of Arsenal recently. He also believes the referee didn't succumb to Anfield atmosphere. The former Liverpool striker believes it was only the foul spotted by the video assistant referee that was overturned.
