BLUE STORM (1) made a winning debut tackling this trip at Newmarket prior to a sixth of ten in the 5f Listed National Stakes at Sandown during May. Down in grade finding good opportunity. Top chance.

GOOD POINT (3) indicated plenty of promise with a Beverley second preceding a Musselburgh novice third over this distance. Respect.

Newcomer GARFIELD SHADOW (2) can fight out third position alongside OUR BANK (4) who improved second up at Lingfield AW finishing fourth in this grade. Consider.

14:50 (Hamilton) Aconcagua Mountain

ACONCAGUA MOUNTAIN (1) maintains strong form with a Musselburgh runner-up effort last weekend preceding a 1.75L success attempting a competitive twenty runner handicap at Ayr in a higher grade on Thursday tackling this trip. Leading contender despite the short turnaround.

SKI ANGEL (3) won on soft ground at Ayr in July and did well finishing behind the top selection last Saturday at Musselburgh when third among this company. Could go close if at best.

CAPTAIN CORCORAN (4) showed plenty of ability at Thirsk on Monday when a solid 1.75L third in a 6f selling handicap. Thereabouts. ANNIE MAHER (2) holds place claims.

15:25 (Hamilton) Bringbackmemories

BRINGBACKMEMORIES (1) ran well at Redcar on Tuesday when a solid third in a 1 ¼m handicap. Can build on that effort. Rates highly.

YEEEAAH (4) brings strong form with a good third in a 1m handicap at Musselburgh prior to a 1.5L victory over 1m at Carlisle. Main danger.

ICONIQUE (5) makes for appeal following a decent third tackling a 1 ¼m handicap at Beverley two runs ago. Could feature.

DARK COMPANY (2) rates next best having won a 1 ¼m selling handicap by 5L at Lingfield on turf three starts back. Interesting.

16:00 (Hamilton) Love Lies

A competitive race despite the small field. LOVE LIES (3) looks a promising filly having won twice from three outings in her career with an Ayr 6f maiden victory by 1.75L preceding a 3.25L success in a Newcastle AW 6f novice event two weeks ago. Top chance.

Musselburgh two-time winner ROCK MELODY (1) rates highly with a strong third tackling the Class Two Scottish Stewards Cup here in July and last weekend placed second at Musselburgh. Include.

IRIS DANCER (5) and GISELLES IZZY (6) have scored on two occasions this season here. Both may feature.

16:35 (Hamilton) Blazing Son

BLAZING SON (5) showed plenty of ability at Doncaster two runs back when a nose second tackling this handicap grade and trip on soft ground. Fair Redcar fifth (dead-heating with Mighty Gurkha) last month. Leading player.

THE GAY BLADE (10) ran well in a lower graded course and distance handicap nineteen days back finishing 2L second. This previous course winner rates the main danger.

ELLADORA (8) posted a solid third in the same track and trip handicap. Thereabouts. The aforementioned MIGHTY GURKHA (1) holds each-way claims after some creditable efforts recently.

17:10 (Hamilton) Barrolo

BARROLO (1) maintains a consistent profile this season with a pair of victories at Musselburgh and Newmarket preceding a solid third in a 1 ¼m handicap at Newcastle AW. Leading contender.

BLUE ANTARES (4) is also going well having won or placed the past four starts. Rates highly. RORY THE CAT (6) makes for appeal. Found success on soft ground by 1L at Beverley in a 1 ¼m handicap two outings back. Shortlist.

BEST GUESS (2) improved at Carlisle finishing 4.25L third over 1 ⅛m in a novice contest. Might progress further.

17:40 (Hamilton) Kells

KELLS (7) scored by an impressive 8.5L on Monday at Thirsk over this distance among similar company. Hard to beat.

BLACK SMOKE (4) holds strong form with a neck success in this handicap grade on soft going at Lingfield preceding a Bath runner-up effort. Improving rapidly. Respect.

TAFSIR (2) secured a 2L victory tackling a 1 ¾m handicap at Musselburgh prior to a below par result at Newcastle AW. Back down in standard and could go close.

AIGHEAR (6) ran well eleven days back at Carlisle finishing 5L second attempting a 2 ¹⁄₁₆m handicap. Interesting.
