Hannah Halvorsen makes Olympics, two years after brain injury

Hannah Halvorsen, 23, is headed to her first Winter Games. She suffered a brain injury after being hit by a Jeep in downtown Anchorage. HalVorsens had a skull fracture, bleeding and bruising in her brain and a broken tibia, a torn MCL and PCL. It took her 11 months to get back on the ski slopes. She returned to international competition 13 months after the accident. This season, she made a convincing case for an Olympic spot by finishing in the top 10 in a freestyle sprint in Dresden, Germany.
