Hawks vs. Thunder prediction and odds for Wednesday, January 24 (Bet on OKC)

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Wednesday night against the Atlanta Hawks, and we should see a ton of great guard play with Trae Young, Dejounte Murray and Shai Gilegous-Alexander all in action.

The Hawks are starting to play better, winning six of their last 10 games to move into the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.

However, they’re running up against the best team against the spread in the NBA in OKC, who has been one of my favorite bets this season.

Atlanta has listed De’Andre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu as questionable for this game. Does that sway things towards OKC?

Here are the odds and my best bet:

Hawks vs. Thunder odds, spread and total

Hawks vs. Thunder prediction and pick

If you’ve been following my bets this season, you know that I’m almost always on the Thunder when they’re underdogs.

OKC is 9-5 against the spread as a home underdog and an extremely impressive 8-6 straight up in those games.

The Thunder have covered in eight of their last 10 games, and now they get a Hawks team that has struggled on the road this season.

Atlanta is just 2-6 against the spread as an away favorite, and the Hawks are 14th in net rating over their last 10 games while the Thunder are third.

In fact, OKC has a better net rating this season!

Every night, I’m seeing Vegas undervalue the Thunder, but this is a good basketball team with an All-NBA leader in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Give me OKC to win this game.
