Here's how the Patriots' playoff chances look ahead of Cardinals matchup

The Bruins defeated the Golden Knights 3-1 on Sunday. Boston Pride completed a two-game weekend sweep of the Buffalo Beauts on Saturday, winning 7-5. The Celtics face the Clippers this evening at 10:30 p.m. in Los Angeles.

The Patriots are on a two-game losing streak. They play the Cardinals in Arizona at 8:15 p.m. tonight.

The current AFC playoff standings are Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets and New England Patriots. The Patriots are currently 6-6 and outside of the division leader or one of three wild-card berths. They play the Cardinals on Monday night. If they win, they will move up to 7-5 and into the final playoff spot.

Buffalo Bills are AFC East leader, Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC West leader and Baltimore Ravens are a 9-4 AFC North leader. Tennessee Titans are 7-6, Miami Dolphins are 8-5, Cincinnati Bengals are 9 4, Los Angeles Chargers are7- 6, New York Jets are 6-7, and New England Patriots are6-8.

The most recent team to lose at least six games in the NFL regular season and still win the Super Bowl is the team that beat the Patriots in playoffs during that particular Superbowl run.

J.D. Davison's dunk was a highlight for Maine in an eventual defeat on Sunday.

Mark Henderson drove a John Deere 314 tractor on the field during the Patriots-Dolphins AFC East game in 1982. He was on a work-release program from UCI-Norfolk prison. The tractor plowed the yardage lines and helped the team score a field goal. Patriots won the game 3-0 and went on to make the playoffs.  Don Shula later said he would have done the same thing if he could. It is a piece of New England football lore.
