Hockey, FIH Nations Cup: Navjot Kaur’s journey from a lazy child to India’s hard-working midfielder

Navjot Kaur was a part of the Indian women's team that finished fourth at the Tokyo Olympics last year. She was injured at Commonwealth Games this year, but she's back in the team for the FIH Nations Cup in Spain. Navjott used to be punished a lot at her sport academy. Her parents pushed her into the sport. She's earned 200 international caps for her team and scored 18 goals. The tough disciplinarian that was her coach laid the foundation for Navi's development. He wanted to make sure one of her children pursued a career in sport and sent her to an academy near home.
