Georgia Lawmakers Turning to Sports Betting In Final Week of Legislation
Two sports betting amendments are expected to be passed through the House Committee on Economic Development and Tourism on Monday.
Last year, the Georgia Senate passed two gaming bills, which allowed for sports gambling. However, both bills carried over to this legislative session after running into party politics and ultimately stalling.
