Martin Dwyer is likely to miss the rest of the Flat season because of knee surgery. The jockey suffered a torn ACL in a fall on the gallops last month. He will have the operation in the next few weeks. He is having physio at Oaksey House before the surgery to take the inflammation away.

Dwyer is having an ACL operation in early May. Frankie Dettori was on board Pyledriver when he was beaten by Shahryar in the Sheema Classic at Meydan. He is likely to retain the ride when PyLedriver bids to defend his Coronation Cup crown at Epsom on June 3.
