Hot stablemate stands in way of Slipper berth for Capital

Tony Gollan is undecided about a Golden Slipper start for Capital Tower should he win on Saturday. Capital tower is unbeaten and has won $81,000 in prizemoney. Flying Rupert was a hot trial winner at Deagon last month. He is a $1.60 favourite. Capital Towers is second favourite at $2.70. Gollyan will not get ahead of himself.

Jimmy Orman won at Doomben for trainer Tony Gollan. Gollyan has had Ef Troop and Vincere Volare in the Golden Slipper before, but both had starts in Sydney before going into the grand final. Capital Tower is not sure if he is a Slippers' horse. If he wins on Saturday, he will be able to stay in Queensland for the winter.
