The cost of attending NBA games has risen. Families will spend $288.38 on four cheapest tickets, parking, two beers, 2 sodas and 4 hot dogs at an NBA arena this winter. The NFL is $536.77. San Francisco is the most expensive market. The cheapest ticket at Chase Center costs nearly $700. Golden State Warriors are the cheapest team. New York Knicks are second most costly. Indiana Pacers are cheapest. They cost less than $150. It costs less to go to four games at Indiana than one game at Golden States.
The cheapest available tickets for home games in December and January are 4. Golden State’s average cheapest seats sold for over $140 each. Pacers tickets can be had at face value for under $20. Lakers fans spend nearly $110 per ticket. The Warriors and Knicks had the most-expensive available seats. The cheapest tickets were for those available as of Oct. 12, 2022.
Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks advise skipping a car and using public transportation. Boston Celtics and the New Orleans Pelicans are the most expensive. Parking at New Pelicans and Rockets games is 80% cheaper.
The NBA offers beer and soda prices that are very different. Beer prices are based on 16-ounce size. The same drink costs half as much in Indiana, San Antonio and Atlanta and less than half in Cleveland and Oklahoma City.
The Atlanta Falcons are known for having cheap hot dogs on game days. The Hawks, as well as the Spurs, charge $3 or less for a hot dog. You'll pay triple that at Madison Square Garden.
