India vs Australia win probability: Odds and chances for World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad

The 2023 Cricket World Cup final is set. Hosts India will take on Australia in the showpiece of the six-week-long tournament.

India were the first team to confirm their place in the finale after beating New Zealand in the first semifinal.

Virat Kohli's record 50th ODI century led them to sensational 70-run win at the Wankhede.

They were joined by Australia, who won a thriller against South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday with just over two overs and three wickets to spare.

Australia last reached the World Cup final in 2015 when they won the title for a record fifth time beating New Zealand. Whereas, India lifted the trophy after 28 years in 2011 under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

What is India vs Australia win probability?

These two teams met in the league stage as well. India had comfortably beat Australia by six wickets then, chasing 200 runs riding on KL Rahul's 115-ball 97*.

Now, it's time for the ultimate showdown at the Narendra Modi Stadium. India were put in to bat on a sluggish surface and managed only 240 in their 50 overs. The score feels 30 runs at least under par, tilting the scales in Australia's favour.

India began their defence with a costly over but the early wicket of David Warner will calm the nerves a bit. India also prised out a huge wicket of Mitch Marsh, putting the game in a balance. Bumrah sent back Smith to increase India's hopes and odds.

But the partnership built by Head and Labuschagne has slightly swung the odds in Australia's favour. The 192-run stand stand has led Australia towards a famous win.
