India vs South Africa Odds, Prediction & Betting Tips

It’s a battle between the two best teams in the tournament so far here, with hosts India defending their flawless record and surprise package South Africa looking to continue their incredible form.

Both sides are more or less certain of a semi-final spot and a win here would confirm that.

Matt Banks is on hand to preview the game and pick out his best bets…

This India side look completely unbeatable at the moment. They’ve not even had a remotely close game to this point, and if you were picking a team of the tournament, you could easily have seven or eight players from the host nation.

Their batsmen have all contributed at various times during the World Cup, Jadeja and Yadav are the best spin duo on the planet and the seam trio of Siraj, Shami, and Bumrah has looked unplayable at times - just ask Sri Lanka.

It’s incredible to think that the only game South Africa have lost so far is against minnows Netherlands, while in every other game they’ve looked brilliant.

It is their batting in particular that has been so impressive, led by superstar opening bat Quinton de Kock, the steady and reliable batting of Rassie Van der Dussen, and then the explosive kitting of Klassen, Markram and Miller lower down.

This game should be fascinating, and a great look towards a possible final between these two sides in a few weeks.

India vs South Africa Tips

Virat Kohli Over 39.5 Runs

King Kohli has his eyes on Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries.

He got close against Sri Lanka with his 88 from 94 balls, but will be desperate to get the hundred and match the little master’s record.

Kohli has been in incredible form throughout the tournament and will relish the chance to play against the second-best team in the competition and prove that he can perform against all teams.

At even-money, Kohli looks a decent bet to score Over 39.5 runs on Sunday.

India To Win & Both Teams To Score 275+ Runs Each

These two teams have been the best betting teams by a distance in the tournament and have lineups filled with in-form batsmen.

We’re expecting loads of runs here but for India to either win thanks to cold-blooded chasing from Kohli and friends or for the Indian seamers to just restrict the Proteas enough in the second innings.

There haven’t been nearly enough close games in this tournament, we’re expecting a high-scoring thriller here, with India To Win & Both Teams To Score 275+ Runs Each appealing at 10/3 with SkyBet.
