Ireland v Wales player ratings as Andy Farrell's men earn bonus point victory in Six Nations

It was another impressive Six Nations win for Ireland as they beat Wales in a bonus point win the the Aviva Stadium.

Wales, to their credit, made more of a contest in the second half but large parts of the match were dominated by the hosts.

Next up for Ireland is a tougher task of travelling to Twickenham when they take on England.

Here is how we rated the players.

Ireland player ratings

Ciaran Frawley - Dream day for a debut, tidy up a few things at the back. Super second-half cameo where, from a standing start, he danced around Dyer, and later smashed through for a try. 9Calvin Nash - Wasn't asked to make a first-half tackle such was Wales lack of ambition. This has been a terrific learning curve to here for the Munster winger, three games, three wins. 8

Robbie Henshaw - Fully fit again and looks to be enjoying himself in the green shirt for the first time in a long while. Makes for an interesting selection headache when Ringrose is ready again. 8

Bundee Aki - There was a small nation's worth of space open to him when he 'crossed' in the 60th minute only for the move to be called back for a forward pass. a danger throughout, TV's Man of the Match. 9

James Lowe - Ireland's liveliest attacker through the first-half, there is a genuine spring in his step and dance that's hard to put down. 8Jack Crowley - Steady as she goes this week, no rushes of blood to the head and attempted impossible grubbers. Place-kicking outstanding. One great second-half kick down the touchline to find touch. 7Jamison Gibson-Park - Had an armchair ride particularly when the scrum was going so well. His ability top dart from breakdown to breakdown remains a major asset to this group.9Andrew Porter - There may be question marks as to whether the loose-head prop scrummages correctly or whether he is 'boring in' but was able to completely master the unfortunate Assiratti. 10Dan Sheehan - His ninth in an Ireland shirt, the bookies now offering less than even money for him to score in games, finished with nine carries for 40 metres, three tackles, one miss. 9Tadhg Furlong - Easy day on the far side of the scrum when the tight-head is smashing the set-piece completely. Six tackles, no misses, six runs for one metre. 7Joe McCarthy - Palpable lift in Aviva noise-level when he is on the ball as the fans hope for a trademark surge. Subbed at 54 minutes, seven runs for 14 metres, nine tackles, two misses. 7Tadhg Beirne - Changed his bind at the maul ahead of the welsh penalty-try and paid the price getting sin-binned. Ireland's defensive capability dropped when he was off the pitch. 8Peter O'Mahony - Coming back following being rested for Italy, his voice notable in that he was in the ref's ear at all possible times. seven runs for four metres, ten tackles, none missed. 8Josh van der Flier -Picked up a head knock after 50 minutes allowing Jack Conan to come in after 50 minutes. Six runs for 24 minutes and five tackles, no misses, not bad for his 'short' spell. 8

Caelan Doris - The first-half didn't open up enough for him, although eight runs for 19 metres was decent. Ireland's best defender on the day by some distance, repeatedly hammering into red shirts. 9
