IRFU plan to 'improve' atmosphere during Ireland matches

IRFU will introduce new ideas to improve the atmosphere at the Aviva Stadium during the Autumn internationals. The scale of alcohol sales and the high cost of tickets have contributed to the backlash against the matchday fan experience. Ireland's Six Nations decider with Scotland came in for criticism for a lack of noise in the stands. There is also a need for more interaction between the MC and fans. The IRFU may plan further measures in future, pending the results of a survey taken over the course of the next three matches.
