Irish import Diamil out toughs them in Summer Cup

Irish import Diamil won the $200,000 Group 3 Summer Cup at Royal Randwick. Grandslam was the leader at the start but lost the lead to Sky Lab. Berdibek cut across runners over the final section and was relegated to third. Lion's Roar was also involved in an accident and finished behind Skylab. It was Dienil's first attempt at 2000m.
