Is the PropShop app the future of AI sports betting?

The PropShop sports betting app uses a one-of-a-kind tool called Pro-tips that’s designed to help you make the best wagering decisions with the help of AI.

PropShop has a goal of being your primary source for all your bet slips. Here’s everything you need to know:

PropShop is a sports betting app that brings all of your favorite sportsbooks into one place in hopes of taking your experience to a whole other level. It’s meant to be a one-stop-shop for non-stop props.

You can connect your favorite sportsbook accounts like BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel, and more. The app allows you to filter sportsbooks, leagues, games, players, and even bet types too.

The app has three main tabs, with the main page being “Props”.

Upon signing up for or logging into PropShop, you’ll be taken to the “Props” page. Here, you’ll see the day’s prop bets front and center. At the top, you’ll see a place where you can connect to your sportsbook accounts and purchase Pro-tips, but more on that later.

You’ll also find the filter button on the right hand side where you can narrow down your props based on sportsbook(s) as well as league(s), game(s), team(s), player(s), and bet type(s).

The bottom ribbon of buttons gives you the chance to click on “Feed”.

  • Crowd Favorites: These are the most popular props based on percentages. For example, you’ll find something along the lines of 90% of bettors picking the under on “Tim Anderson 1.5 hits” in his game versus the Atlanta Braves.
  • Proportunities!: These are the best value props, which are generated by past results.
  • In the Money: This is where you can see the current week’s winning bet slips.

The design of the Propshop app is innovative and unlike anything you as a sports bettor have ever seen before.

So why download and use the PropShop app instead of logging into each sportsbook’s mobile app? Here’s why:

Finding the best odds for a particular prop bet can be a pretty grueling and time-consuming process. The PropShop app is devised to do the work for you. Once you use the app to log in to the sportsbooks that you have accounts for, PropShop will show you the best odds currently available for each possible prop bet.

If not for this, you would be tasked with having to log in to each sportsbook one-by-one to find what their odds are for that prop.

PropShop makes it so you don’t need to sign into all of your sportsbook profiles. Otherwise, you’d be stuck with the log-in process, followed by clicking on a league and an event, then getting to the exact props page that you want.

Say you don’t have any money in your BetMGM Sportsbook account, but you recently made a deposit in your FanDuel Sportsbook account. You can place your prop bet with FanDuel on PropShop as it shows your current balance in each of your connected sportsbooks.

PropShop has generated up-to-date statistics for every player prop. For instance, for a Tim Anderson 1.5 hits prop, you can click on stats to see his season average for hits per game, his last eight games, his last four games, and his most recent game.

PropShop’s real piece de resistance is the AI-driven Pro-tips tool that’s designed to help you make the most educated wagers possible. You can acquire bundles of Pro-tips tickets on PropShop. Once you have Pro Tips tickets at your disposal, filter to “Show only Pro Tip bets” and apply it.

You’ll then have the help of AI by your side when placing prop bets. Pro-tips uses four numerical factors to craft a “Value Score” for each prop. Here’s how it works: Say you wanted to bet the under on Breece Hall finishing the season with 1,000 rushing yards. Pro-tips is going to show you how valuable that bet is, and how likely you are to win it.

The market prediction is calculated by analyzing the odds and cumulative bets from each sportsbook for both teams/players. How does the market feel about Breece Hall’s rushing prop? We can see above that 72% of the aggregated market is betting that he’ll finish with less than 1,000 yards.

The AI prediction is simply the probability for the outcome to occur, or in our Breece Hall example, the probability that Hall will finish with under 1,000 rushing yards. It’s based on millions of simulations combining past and real-time player/team performance data for each team to improve over time. This, like the market prediction, is a percentage score.

The expected value score is provided by AI which analyzes early market odds and sportsbook data feeds to convert lines into implied probability and identify both overvalued and undervalued wagers. You’ll see one of the following: +EV (profit), -EV (loss). The expected value on our under bet for Hall’s rushing total is +11.

The projected result is the predicted total based on a composite of PropShop’s AI prediction and real-time changes in sportsbook lines. In our example, AI is predicting Breece Hall to finish with 888 rushing yards, all in all, making this a pretty safe under bet at this point in time.

Pro Tips will provide a Value Score from 0-100 depending upon the aforementioned factors. Combining Pro-tips and its Value Score, along with the best available odds is how PropShop stands above the rest.

These valuable insights and betting strategies ensure that making informed, confident wagering decisions.
