‘It was a huge decision’ to leave behind my GAA days, admits rising Munster star Patrick Campbell

Patrick Campbell won the All-Ireland minor football trophy in Cork in 2019. He was offered a place in the Munster Academy and he decided to switch codes. Campbell made his professional rugby debut in December. The full-back is set to play for Ireland in U-20s Six Nations. Wales take on Ireland on Friday at Musgrave Park. It's the Six- Nations opener. Patrick Campbell has already played with Young Munsters in Energia All Ireland League. His experience playing at Croke Park has helped him cope with big occasions. he also won Sam Maguire with Rebels. They lost the final to Wasps.
