Italy will face England in Euro 2024 qualifying. The English cannot beat the Italians in six games in a row - can they not do it again?

The Italian national team, after their triumph at Euro 2020, miraculously failed to qualify for the World Cup-2022, losing in the final of qualification to modest Northern Macedonia (0:1). They have since performed impressively in the League of Nations, scoring 11 points in six rounds and winning the group. The Italians last played in friendlies in November 2022 against Albanians and Austrians. Italy had no problems with Albania (3:1) but lost to Austria without scoring a goal (0:2). The defending European champions played their last official match last September against Hungary (2:0).

England

England also played great during the last UEFA Euro 2020. Recall that the English dramatically lost in the final to the Italians in a penalty shootout (1:1, 2:3 penalties.).
