It’s all working for Jack Darling and Bulldog Hanover
Bulldog Hanover is the fastest harness racing Standardbred of all time. He is going into the Allerage Farms Open Pace at Lexington, Kentucky’s Red Mile on Sunday (Oct. 9) with an 11-race winning streak. Jack Darling, the co-owner, is selling and buying horses in Lexington and checking on his horses. Darling was elected to the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame yesterday. Bulldog has started 13 times this year with 12 wins and one fourth place finish.
Bulldog Hanover takes on six rivals in the 11th race at the Red Mile on Sunday. Allywag Hanovers drew post 1, Abuckabett Hanvers drew 4 and Natameri, post 7. Natamari has won six of his last seven starts in New York State. Bulldog won the last race. Last week at Hollywood Dayton Raceway, the $250,000 Dayton Derby was the 12th and final race of the program. The card features the final jewel of Trotting Triple Crown, a wide-open 12-horse field for the Kentucky Futurity for three-year-olds and another $800,00 in addition stakes races.
