David Christie is looking forward to the St James's Place Festival Hunters' Chase at Cheltenham. His horse Winged Leader is the second favourite. Vaucelet will also be entered in the race. He won the Champion Novices' Hunters’ Chase in Stratford last May. He was beaten at Down Royal over Christmas. Christie believes he will be able to get him ready for the big race on March 18. The horse is versatile and he can handle any ground. There is a lot of rain coming. It's been a fairly dry winter up until recently. David Christie doesn't want to read too much into his horse's performance at the DownRoyal.
