Jalen Brunson ready for ‘whatever it takes’ with Knicks
Brunson is a free agent and the Knicks are betting on his development. Brunson won two NCAA titles at Villanova and was drafted by the Mavericks in the second round of the 2018 draft. He played off the ball with Luka Doncic for three seasons and blossomed in this year's playoffs. Thibodeau has seen many NBA players defy the expectations of their draft position. He coached Jimmy Butler, who was taken 30th overall by Bulls in 2011. Sam Rose, the agent of Brunon's father, is now a Knicks assistant coach.
