Jim 'Mattress Mack' McIngvale makes another multimillion-dollar Astros bet

Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale put down another huge bet on the Astros to win the World Series, placing a $2 million wager Monday that would win him $10.6 million if the Astros win it all.

As he has done since online sports wagering was made legal in Louisiana, McIngvale crossed the state line to place his bet, going to the L'Auberge Casino in Lake Charles and placing the bet through Barstool Sportsbook, which had the Astros at +550 to win the World Series. Barstool has dropped the Astros to +500 (essentially 5-to-1) after McIngvale's bet. The only teams with better odds than that are the Dodgers and Yankees, who are both at +375. The Yankees (64-28) and Dodgers (60-30) are the only teams with better records than the Astros (59-32) at the All-Star break.
