The Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals meet in an AL Central division matchup in MLB action from Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday.
The Chicago White Sox will be out to build on their split with the Royals after losing game one on Tuesday by a final score of 4-2 before rebounding with a 3-2 win in the second half of the double-header. I get the reasoning for backing KC at home as an underdog in this one as that could be where some value lies, but the White Sox are still the league’s best in terms of hitting against lefties on the road and the White Sox, like starting pitcher Johnny Cueto, play better on the road as it is this season. I just don’t think I’m getting enough plus money to back Kris Bubic and the Royals here, so give me Chicago in this one.
