Keeneland’s Fall Meet 2022 open for racing fans
Keeneland's Fall Meet is open for racing fans. The last time it was held at Keeneland was in 2020, when there were no spectators due to COVID. This year's attendance is capped at 20,000. There are usually 8 to 12 races per day. The Fall meet runs through Oct. 29. It's expected to attract 45,00 fans perday. A merchandise pavilion is being built near the clubhouse. They're preparing for November's world championships. Drew Fleming, the president and CEO of the Breeders’ Cup, said there's "just something in the air" at this time of year in Kentucky.
