Kentucky Derby Rescheduled For September, Will Take Place With Fans

Kentucky Derby will take place in the fall with spectators. The most famous horse racing event will be held from Sept. 1 to Sept 5. Health officials developed a plan to allow the race to take places amid concerns over the coronavirus pandemic. There will also be limited capacity at the venue and no barn access to anyone other than personnel. Attendees will have to wear masks and practice social distancing. The Preakness Stakes, the third and final race of the Triple Crown, is scheduled for Oct. 3.
