Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike won't race at Preakness Stakes

Rich Strike, the horse that won the Kentucky Derby, will not run in the Preakness Stakes next Saturday. The team will focus on the Belmont Stake in New York instead. There will be no Triple Crown winner this year.  Only 13 horses have been won all three stops of the series. It's one of most coveted titles in horseracing. Ritchie delivered one the greatest upsets in Kentucky derby history. He overtook the favorites Epicenter and Zandon in last stretch. His jockey, Sonny Leon, waited until the last corner to make his move. They had to wait until rail opened up.
