KKR captain Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back injury. The India international will undergo surgery and is also set to miss the World Test Championship against Australia.
The Kolkata-based franchisee will also miss the service of veteran Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hassan who has communicated his unavailability to the team management. He cited international commitments and personal reasons for his absence.
The good news for KKR, though, is that Shakib's teammate Litton Das has finally arrived in Kolkata and will be available for selection for the upcoming match.
SRH have no new injury concerns in their squad and they are likely to stick to the starting lineup which won their last game against PBKS.

Whilst their last outing was tidy with the ball in hand, there is not enough to suggest they can contain KKR.
