Knox: 'I have the opportunity in front of me'

Keynan Knox has started 28 times for Munster in total. He has played off the bench in each of the last three seasons. Knox is the next in line to replace John Ryan, who has 250 appearances for the province. The 23-year-old has been playing in the BKT United Rugby Championship. His replacement is Roman Salanoa, but he has also started two games. He is keen to make the most of his opportunity. It comes after John Archer retired and is turning 35 in January. Salanaa is currently playing rugby with Emerging Ireland in South Africa. Kevin Ryan and Stephen Archer are the current senior players in Munsters' tighthead position.
